About Us
Our Roots
The Condercuri Sunday family tradition began in Springfield, Mass., and continued when the family moved to Port Orange in 1990. Mr. Condercuri recalls his grandparents “getting ready (cooking) for everybody to come over at noon: spaghetti, pasta, the whole nine.”
Mr. Condercuri also was inspired by his family for the restaurant's name. Nonne is the plural form of grandmother in Italian and is how his grandmother, Janet Condercuri, was addressed.
Not only is her nickname being used as the restaurant name, her sauce recipe is also front and center. “The tomato sauce is my grandma's recipe that goes back close to 70, 80 years.
Condercuri's Bruschetta
Truly Top-Notch
The essence of this bruschetta is to bake the bruschetta with basil, tomato, red onion, garlic, olive oil, and fresh mozzarella. It is topped with a balsamic reduction glaze. You think this looks good, Condercuri even knows a few chef tricks patrons can look for in his classic Italian dishes, and pizza that will be smothered in Nonne’s sauce to relatively new menu selections and some innovation.
